Produktbeschreibung
Currently, social awareness of suicide or suicide risk in the population is lower than it should be, both because of misinformation from the media and because of the stigma and false beliefs that underlie it. It is important to know the relationship between depression and anxiety suffered by students since they can enhance suicidal risk. Therefore, this book tries to clarify these aspects, focusing on students in their first year of health careers, since they are in a period of transition and adaptation. It also adds an intervention proposal focused on the cognitive-behavioral field that could be used to reduce this problem. The aim of this research is to shed some light on the possible suicidal risk of health care students and to clarify the difficulties they have to face, in order to help them find solutions and remind them of the importance of asking for help in any situation.
