In Brazil, the management of basic sanitation services is presented according to several models, each with its own peculiarities. Studies related to policies and management models of these services are still very incipient, and most of the research in the field of sanitary and environmental engineering is directed to the technological area and there are few studies aimed at deepening knowledge on the subject. In this work, it was proposed to analyze some points related to the provision of public services of water supply and sanitary sewerage in the State of Mato Grosso for the year 2014 compared with the goals of 2015, based on the indicators of the National Sanitation Information System (SNIS). Technical parameters were defined for the analysis of the indicators, classifying the results as satisfactory (blue) or unsatisfactory (red). This categorization meets the conception of Sunshine Regulation, highlighting the monitoring of the provision in the basic sanitation sector in theState of Mato Grosso.
