Philip Nawej kayomb nació el 16 de enero de 1996 en Kolwezi, en la República del Zaire, actual República Democrática del Congo. Obtuvo su diploma estatal en el Instituto de Bellas Artes de Lubumbashi, y primero se probó a sí mismo en los cómics y el cine, sin embargo, la llamada a escribir fue mucho más fuerte.
