Autorenporträt
Robin Honiss has spent over sixty years in the financial services industry, working at everything from a bond trader to CEO of a bank, to founding an investment advisory business. While his day job utilized his left-brain skills, he has been able to use his right-brain creative and artistic skills on a moonlighting basis as a writer. Robin is the author of RiverNotes: A Memoir (2007). Summer Seas and Autumn Leaves is his first book of poetry. At a young age, Robin developed a passion for reading and through the encouragement of family and teachers, honed his writing skills. He fell in love with poetry following his nineth grade English teacher's recitation of John Masefield's "One of the Bosun's Yarns." Over seventy years later, Robin can still recite the poem in its entirety. He lives with his wife, Judi, in Stonington, Connecticut in the summer and Vero Beach, Florida in the winter.
