Grant is finishing his freshman year of high school in small town, Connecticut. As the summer unfolds and David starts running the bases, Grant is stalked by a farmer's daughter on his paper route, falls for Rebecca (who has secrets of her own), and develops a crush on a customer whose marriage is falling apart.
