Murali Krishna Chemuturi was born into a lower middle class Brahmin family in Chityala, West Godavari District in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. By education, he is an Industrial Engineer, with an MBA, a diploma in Electrical Engineering, and a PG Diploma in Computer Methods and Programming. He has worked in organizations like ECIL, TCS, Metamor, Satyam and Vistaar in the areas of Manufacturing and software development. He is an adherent of the ancient Dharma (righteous living and it is referred to as Hinduism today) appropriate for Brahmins. He is well travelled in India and abroad. He is well read, having read Raamayana, Maha Bhaaratha, Bhaagavatha, Bhagavad Geetha, Manu Smruthi and other books. He also read contemporary western literature. He is a practicing Brahmin to the extent this modern world and living allows. His notable work is the translation of Raamayana of Maha Rushi Vaalmiki, Bhagavadh Geetha, Garuda Puraana, and Utthara Raamayana from Samskrutha into English. He authored many papers on technical topics, social issues, and religion, as well as seven books on Information Technology and two books on management, one on personality engineering and one compilation of all his essays. His articles were read by more than 100,000 readers on the internet alone where statistics are available. He lives in India with his dedicated wife, Udaya Sundari, in USA with his first son Dr. Nagendra. He has four grandsons and one granddaughter. He was awarded the Fellowship award by the Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering in 1997, the IT Innovation and Excellence award by the Computer Society of India in 2016 and the Life Time Achievement Award by the Asian Leadership summit in Dubai in 2023.
