Can she trust enough to allow love? After the events in San Juan Sunrise, Jennifer Morse is now a successful author who spends a lot of time away from home on book tours. Consequently, her relationship with her boyfriend, Chris, has hit some bumpy patches. While visiting her grandparents in Paris, she meets racing driver Jean Luc Bonnet. Though attracted to him, as he is to her, she is not yet ready for another relationship. All her doubts about men and betrayal and her abusive past, which she worked so hard to overcome, are stirred up by Chris's deception and Jean's pursuit. Though afraid of potential loneliness, she's not sure she can trust another man, and she needs to get back on course with her writing. An unpleasant encounter stirs up trauma Jenny thought she'd dealt with, and a tremendous shock awaits her when she returns to the USA. With her life once more in turmoil, she needs time and space to work out what she really wants.

Autorenporträt
Ed Lehner, a retired professor of graphic design from Iowa State University, has journaled and written poetry for over forty years and, more recently, novels, such as The Awakening of Russell Henderson, and a short story collection, Grandpa's Horse. San Juan Sunrise actually came unexpectedly when he was recovering from pneumonia in 2015. The story began as a poem, then morphed into a short story and just kept growing and growing until, to his surprise, he brought it to closure. He lives with his wife, Julie, and Emma the cat in Durango, Colorado. He can be reached at www.elehnerauthorsite.com.
