Swantje Kammerecker schloss ein Studium in Humanmedizin, das CAS Kommunikation für Nonprofit-Organisationen und die Grosse Schule des Schreibens derAxel-Andersson-Akademie ab. Sie wohnt seit 25 Jahren in der Schweiz und arbeitet als Autorin, freie Texterin, Journalistin und Schreibcoach. Acht Publikationen im Baeschlin Verlag, davon sieben Kinderbücher u.a. «Vrenelisgärtli und andere Glarner Sagen», «Der König des Waldes», «Liam, Lara und die Furka-Dampfloks».

Ekaterina Chernetskaya, 1978 in Moskau geboren. Nach ihrem Abschluss am staatlichen Moskauer Architekturinstitut arbeitete sie als Architektin und unterrichtete als Zeichenlehrerin an der gleichen Universität. Seit 2014 ist sie mit der Schweiz verbunden, insbesondere mit dem Kanton Glarus. Ihre Bilder finden sich in privaten Kunstsammlungen in der Schweiz sowie in Rom, Paris, London und New York. Für den Baeschlin Verlag hat sie «Die Bienenkönigin», «Der kleine Hund will auch gross sein», «Leyla an der Glarner Landsgemeinde» und «Supernose in London, ein Duftkrimi» illustriert.
