It is very clear that kinetic based studies are not rampant as other works in different specialisations in Chemistry. In most cases, one can come across kinetic studies in cursory approach; without substantial information on the different kinetic parameters. It is very clear that kinetic based studies are not rampant as other works in different specialisations in Chemistry. In most cases, one can come across kinetic studies in cursory approach; without substantial information on the different kinetic parameters. And I think that is because of dearth of users - friendly requisite rudimentary kinetic texts (literatures) to help people carry out studies that are kinetics biased mostly as it relates Inorganic approach. Because of that many people have no interest in broad based kinetic works. Thus, this basic and classical text is developed to help address issues like these. The text presents simple empirical approach to carrying out kinetic studies; rate of reaction, rate constant, order of reaction, activation entropy and enthalpy, associative and dissociative mechanism. The text is set to satisfy all categories of chemistry students at tertiary levels; College of educations, Polytechnics, Monotechnics and Universities. I strongly encourage postgraduate students to get this text as their companion. This book will offer easy understanding of the basic kinetic concepts.
