Organic electronics represents a branch of study that includes both science and engineering attempts to exploit the use of organic materials in combination with inorganics to be used as active components in electronic and optical devices. Over the last decades, this field has drawn substantial interests from the scientific communities as well as considerable research investments with tremendous progress achieved in the design and fabrication of organic electronic devices. In the future organic electronics will continue to develop and be one of most promising technologies that can bring revolutionary improvements to human life.
