Xizhang Chen is Full Professor at Wenzhou University, China, and leads the Materials Joining & Processing Team, conducting both fundamental and applied R&D and technology innovations for diverse interdisciplinary subjects related to materials joining/processing and allied materials manufacturing processes. He is also Adjunct Professor of Samara National Research University, Russia, and Guest Professor of Siberian State Industrial University. Dr. Xizhang Chen's research covers various aspects of thermal-mechanical-metallurgical behaviors of materials in materials joining and processing. Dr. Chen has broad interactions with industry and demonstrated experience in solving critical industry problems. Dr. Chen has about 100 publications and 16 patents. He also works as Associate Editors and Editorial Board members of some international journals such as Transactions on Intelligent Welding Manufacturing (TIWM), Surface Investigation, Engineering Materials and Bulletin of the Siberian State Industrial University. Sergey Konovalov is Leading Researcher and Head of the Department of Metals Technology and Aviation Materials, Samara National Research University, Russia; he is also Chief Researcher of Wenzhou University Institute of Laser and Optoelectronic Intelligent Manufacturing, China. Dr. Konovalov's research interests include solid-state physics, external energy effects, physics of strength and plasticity of metals and alloys. He has about 250 publications,14 patents and been Head of grants from leading scientific foundations. Victor Gromov is Head of the Science Department named after Professor Finkel at Siberian State Industrial University, Russia. He is also Distinguished Academic of the Russian Federation, a winner of the Government's Prize in Science and Engineering and a member of the RAS's Academic Board for Condensed-Matter Physics. Prof. Gromov's research areas include materials engineering, physics of metals and metallurgy. He has published more than 3,400 publications which include 25 inventions and patents, and 82 monographs. Yurii Ivanov is Chief Researcher at the Institute of High Current Electronics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. His research interests include physics of strength and plasticity of materials on external energy effects, and modification of materials by beams of charged particles and plasma flows. He has published about 600 review articles, and he is Author of several scientific discoveries and 20 invention patents and Head of grants from leading scientific foundations.
