MARK S. GRANICK is Professor of Surgery, Chief of Plastic Surgery, and Plastic Surgery Residency Program Director, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School, Newark. Recognized as one of the country's leading academic plastic surgeons, Dr. Granick has lectured extensively throughout Europe and the United States. He has edited 7 textbooks, and authored 90 articles, 45 book chapters, and many abstracts and internet publications. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Association of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and many other regional and specialty societies. Dr. Branick received the B.A. degree from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, and the M.D. degree from Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts.

RICHARD GAMELLI is Professor and Chair, Department of Surgery, Loyola University Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Gamelli is also Director of the American Board of Surgery, and has participated in numerous clinical trails in burns, shock, and trauma. Recognized nationally and internationally for his research, Dr. Gamelli is a member of the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma, the American College of Surgeons, and the Surgical Infection Society, among other organizations. Dr. Gamelli is the author of over 150 scientific articles, 23 book chapters, and 8 books.
