Autorenporträt
Bobi Garland is an adjunct faculty member at Otis College of Art and Design and Woodbury University in Los Angeles, California, where her immersive teaching style encourages students to experience history through cooperation with local museums and career professionals. As a costume historian, she has worked with museums and creative companies including The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The Autry Museum, The National Endowment for the Arts, Walt Disney Company and Electronic Arts. As Director of Western Company's Costume Archive & Research Library, she worked closely with Academy Award winning costume designers and developed Western's 6,000 piece film costume archive. Garland is the Collections Manager/Assistant Curator of Swarovski's "Chamber of Wonders" costume exhibition opening October 2021.
