Today the sympathy for the Vietnam Veteran has increased, and public respect for the Veteran is gaining at a very fast pace. The Americans now think that most Vietnam Veterans have PTSD, emotional problems and suffer from lack of jobs, discrimination, alcohol, drug abuse, alienation, and lack of purpose. This true story is of one American Vietnam Veteran who survived the bitterness, rejection, discrimination, alcohol, alienation, PTSD, emotional problems, and found a purpose in his life, along with success. His real war was not in Vietnam, but here in the United States of America, covering a life span of some 35 years and counting. This Veteran has come out of the closet, as one would say; to stand up and be counted as a real survivor of PTSD, which will never go away.
