Autorenporträt
Roger C. Dunham, M.D. has been practicing primary care Internal Medicine for more than 40 years in the small coastal community of Santa Barbara, California. He graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine and completed his training at Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center and at a private hospital in Pasadena. During the years of his practice, he has cared for thousands of patients who have faced challenges in their own personal survival from serious medical conditions, and the experiences, with the lessons learned, are in SURVIVING MORTALITY. Also, his previous years of service on a fast attack nuclear submarine as a reactor operator in the United States Navy have provided him with a perspective about his own mortality...some of the near-death experiences with the submarine crew have expanded his perspective on life and potential death and are included in this book. Dr. Dunham brings these many experiences for readers as they face their own potential mortality and who may benefit from SURVIVING MORTALITY.
