Juanita Gregg grew up as the youngest of four. At age eleven, her father passed leaving the family to struggle to survive on one income which motivated her to pursue a college education. Graduating from high school as a member of the National Honor Society and completing her bachelor degree in Business Administration with President's Honors and Cum Laude, her determination to achieve her goals were periodically interrupted due to a hereditary medical condition. Her Christian belief of faith and trust in God provided her with hope, courage, and strength to endure the challenges she faces. She enjoys working with children and teaching them bible scriptures, skits and songs. One of her favorite scriptures and one that her mother loved is, "If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14). In 1980, she met and soon afterwards married the love of her life, Wesley Gregg, Sr. on June 6, 1981 and four years later gave birth to their son, Stephen Michael Gregg on June 1, 1985. In 2017, she and her husband retired and enjoyed their retirement until his untimely death on March 23, 2020. Though the loss of her husband leaves a huge void, she continues to enjoy her passion of working with children whether through teaching and or as a foster parent. Her faith in God remains strong through each curve ball life throws her way. To God be the Glory!
