Autorenporträt
The author immigrated to the United States as a young boy and settled in the California gold country where he built a homestead and raised chickens, llama and goats with his wife Maryann and their dogs Scrappy and Fang. He has planted many thousands of trees in his life, but now enjoys the fruit of his labors in their small orchard and garden surrounded by trees he has manicured since a wildfire 30 years ago.
