Sustainability and Green Approaches in Project Management, focuses on sustainable practices adopted in managing projects throughout their life cycles. Research in sustainable practices in projects is mostly on the sustainability of the outcome of the project and there're lacunae in adopting sustainable practices throughout the life cycle. Thus this study focuses on exploring the influence of sustainability on project management. The objectives of the research are: to identify green approaches in project management and to explore the influence of sustainability on project management, specifically on cost, time and scope management. The current business organisations operate in a dynamic environment changing at a rapid pace with demands increasing ever more. The survival in this highly competitive environment depends on ability to adapt to changes and demands. The recent changes in climate, hunger and rapid depletion of resources demands the business organisations to become sustainable in their operations. The findings of the study reveal that only some of the activities in each cost, time and scope management processes are influenced by sustainability.
