Dr. Jang B. Singh, is Professor Emeritus, Odette School of Business, University of Windsor, Canada. He holds several university degrees including an MBA from the University of Windsor and a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto. He joined the University of Windsor in 1986 where he held various positions over a career that spanned more than thirty years. Most of that period was dedicated to teaching and research but he also served as an administrator. He completed stints as Associate Dean (Strategic Initiatives) and Head of the Management Area of the Odette School of Business. From 2011-2016 he served as Senior Research Leadership Chair in Business and was the Chair of the Odette School of Business Research Committee from 2010-16. He also served as President of the University of Windsor Faculty Association. Dr. Singh's teaching was mainly in Management with particular focus on Business Ethics, which encompasses the crucial area of sustainability. This is the area that has been the focus of his research recently. He sees sustainability as a subset of business ethics and hence his research on sustainability as a continuation of his extensive research on that subject. Dr. Singh's publications include books, book chapters and numerous refereed journal articles. His articles have been published in journals such as the Journal of Business Ethics and the Journal of World Business. Jang Singh lives in Windsor, Ontario, Canada with his wife, Dr. Emily Carasco, professor emeritus of Law.
