Autorenporträt
K. MURALIDHARAN is Professor of Statistics at the Faculty of Science, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Gujarat, India. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship from the Institute of Statistical Science at Academia Sinica, Taiwan, in 2003, and Ph.D. in Statistics from Sardar Patel University, India, in 1997. He is an internationally certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt from Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore. His research interests are statistical inference, stochastic point process models, reliability and life testing, artificial intelligence, quality and Six Sigma. He has authored 3 books, out of which Six Sigma for Organizational Excellence: A Statistical Approach was published in 2015 by Springer Nature, and over a 135 publications in international and national journals of repute. He has completed 5 major research projects funded by the UGC and DST, New Delhi, India; guided many student projects on statistical methods and Six Sigma and offered consultancy services for many industries. He has about 30 years of teaching and research experience and has guided 7 research students for the doctoral degree.
