If service to society is one of the basic obligations of every citizen, then it should be done by everyone - it should be done by myself, my family, my friends and every citizen whether young or old, male or female, rich or poor, educated or uneducated. An attempt has also been made to raise a thought among policy makers to involve NGOs for broader success.

Dr Shaukat Mirza has 30+ years of management and organizational experience in academic and corporate cultures in Switzerland, USA, India and UAE. He was instrumental in establishing RAK Medical & Health Sciences University and American University of Ras Al Khaimah. Currently Dr Mirza is the Managing Trustee of Helping Hands and Director, EWB India.
