Humans are not only facing a decrease in natural water resources, but also a degradation of water quality, which can make it unfit for consumption. The international community has been aware of this problem for the past thirty years and now wants to apply a dynamic approach to manage our depleted water resources. Research shows that water management must involve all users, especially women and children, as well as planners and decision makers at all levels. The world water vision for the 21st century, which is of concern to the international community, is thus based on the principle of a multidisciplinary approach to water management. It wants to initiate a participatory process of civil society, with particular importance given to women, who everywhere in the different nations are at the center of the tasks and chores related to water. It is education that implies in the first place is the involvement of users. It is essential to promote values and lifestyles that are more adapted to the sustainable stability of an environment.
