Professor Federica Cucchiella is an aggregate Professor of Managerial Engineering in the Department of Industrial and Information Engineering and Economics, University of L'Aquila. She has a PhD in Management Engineering at the Department of Economics and Technology from Republic of San Marino University. Her principal area of research regards supply chain management, real option and green supply chain. Her research has been published in relevant international journals, book chapters and conference proceedings. She is a highly cited author, and one of her articles was one of the most highly cited articles in Journal of Manufacturing Technology Management. Professor Cucchiella has participated in several research projects on natural resources and supply chain management, and she has organized a number of international and national conferences mainly in the field of supply chain and green supply chain management. She has also received scholarships and prizes for academic excellence from various academic institutions and foundations. Professor SC Lenny Koh, BEng (Hons), PhD, is an Associate Dean, Chair Professor in Operations Management, Founder and Director of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM) Research Centre, Director of the Faculty's Centre for Energy, Environment and Sustainability (CEES), and Head of the Operations Management Group, at The University of Sheffield Management School, UK. Her expertise lies in logistics and supply chain management, particularly in low carbon futures and industries, low carbon supply chain, energy supply chain, environment and sustainability science, energy efficiency and uncertainty management. She has also produced a considerable amount of research in production planning and control, enterprise resource planning, and information science. Professor Koh holds a first-class honours degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, and a Doctorate in Operations Management. Her work is highly regarded at an international level regarding its novelty, and her work has had a major impact on society, industry and government. She pioneers and leads many highly complex, multi- and inter-disciplinary research projects in the areas of energy, low carbon, sustainability and supply chain. She has over 273 publications in journals, books, edited books, edited proceedings, edited special issues, book chapters, conference papers, technical papers and reports.
