This book seeks to show that the challenged have something to prove and given the opportunity they can assert themselves. An inclusive institute is what we are proposing. Some challenged youth gain technical training in the few special vocational training institutes but cannot compete with their peers. The idea of a sheltered workshop proposed in this paper seeks to address the informal sector for persons with disabilities. This initiative is aimed at improving job skills and awareness and possibly coming up with a show room where the finished products could be exhibited for the purpose of marketing. It further considers the need for sustainability; problems faced by PWD's; sustainable education. The book addresses the need for concise identification of PWD's with a special focus on Mild Intellectual Disability (MID) in Ontario, Canada and the developmental consequences and interventions for the visually handicapped.
