Autorenporträt
Suzy Menkes trained as a historian at Cambridge University, where she became the first female editor of Varsity, the renowned student newspaper. She became fashion editor for The Times (London), The Independent, and famously for the International Herald Tribune, based in Paris, from 1988 to 2014. She was editor of Vogue International from 2014 to 2020, contributing to 26 print and digital editions of Vogue in 18 languages, reaching over 74 million readers. Since 2020, she has hosted a podcast, Creative Conversations With Suzy Menkes, which has featured interviews with fashion industry giants such as Maria Grazia Chiuri, Duro Olowu, and Michal Kors. She has received numerous international awards for her writing and contributions to culture. She lives in London.
