In the end the Swallows win the battle and allow the Amazons to go and camp with them. The island is called wild cat island. The Amazons have an uncle which they call captain Flint as he owns a house boat. The kids declare war on captain Flint. How will the war end and will the kids win?
I really liked the book because it had a lot of humor in it and because it was very gripping. I would recommend this book and series to anybody who likes adventure stories and who is 10-11 years old as the English is very detailed.
