Autorenporträt
Kent Glade (aka Swampy) is an Eco Speaker and Author. He is the President of Swampy, Inc, a non-profit tasked to engage school and eco event audiences in the Importance of clean water and the endangered wetlands, which serves as a home for wild plants and animals. Kent has earned a BS in forestry at the University of Kentucky and a Master's in Public Administration at Kentucky State University. His experience includes the regulation of the coal mining industry for the state of Kentucky. He has assisted FEMA a disaster assistance in Florida, Indiana, Missouri and Iowa. He speaks annually on Earth Day, in the form of Zoom chat and eco podcasts. As a technical specialist, he became fascinated with wetlands and swamps! He created an character named 'Swampy', a clean water and wetlands focus eco character and like Smokey Bear for forests, he advances clean water and wetlands.
