Autorenporträt
Dr. Banshidhar Sarangi is an eminent Odia poet with a number of publications, honors and awards to his credit. His first poetry collection 'Samaya Asamaya' was published in 1977. He has ten poetry collections, one story collection, and three poetry collections in English translation, one poetry book in Hindi translation, and has edited seven books. He has received D. Lit degree for his editing work on Bhagavat by Jagannath Das, the ancient Odia mystic poet. He has received the Central Sahitya Academy award for SWARODAYA in 2006.
