Autorenporträt
Emily Klinefelter is a mom and a pediatric certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA). She has a BA from Saint Louis University, BSN and MSN from Rush University and is currently working on her DNAP from Virginia Commonwealth University. Shortly after entering the specialty of pediatrics, Emily noticed the need for an additional resource that would help prepare kids and their families undergoing anesthesia for a procedure. Being a mom of two small girls, she understands the value of books for her children and the impact books can have on a childs comprehension of a situation. For this reason, Emily wrote Sweet Dreams, a book that helps kids better understand anesthesia and prepare their surgical experience. Her hope is that the knowledge this book provides will help ease the anxiety and stress surrounding the anesthesia experience for many children.
