Harold R. Thompson is the author of the For Empire and Honour series of historical novels, which include Dudley's Fusiliers, Guns of Sevastopol, and Sword of the Mogul. He is also an amateur filmmaker and writes short science fiction in addition to historical fiction. He works for Parks Canada and lives with his family in Nova Scotia.
