The goat, popularly called as poor man s cow plays a vital role in rural economy of Indian sub-continent. Among various reproductive techniques, oestrus synchronization is a highly useful reproductive managemental tool to augment fertility and fecundity in goats. Dr.M.Selvaraju, PhD, Professor, Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, India has 20 yrs of experience in animal reproduction. He teaches theriogenology to UG & PG students of veterinary science. He has published more than 100 research papers.
