Autorenporträt
Shou Shaowen is a professor of the College of Atmospheric Science at University of Information Science & Technology (former Nanjing Meteorological Institute). He graduated from Peking University in 1963, majoring in synoptic and dynamic meteorology. He was the deputy head of the Department of Meteorology, a member of the Faculty Council and Academic Committee of Nanjing Meteorological Institute, a member of the Aeronautical Meteorology Committee of the Chinese Meteorological Society, and a member of the first Academic Committee of the Wuhan Institute of Heavy-rain Storm Research of the China Meteorological Administration. His research fields cover synoptic meteorology, mesoscale atmospheric dynamics, tropical cyclones, torrential rain, strong convective weather, etc. He has published more than 200 papers and more than 10 monographs or textbooks and gained some special honors awarded by Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the State Council of the People's Republic of China.   Li Shenshen is an associate professor of the College of Atmospheric Science at University of Information Science & Technology (former Nanjing Meteorological Institute). She graduated from Peking University in 1965, majoring in synoptic and dynamic meteorology. Her research fields cover synoptic meteorology, mesoscale atmospheric dynamics, tropical cyclones, torrential rain, strong convective weather, etc. She has published more than 100 papers and 6 monographs or textbooks.
