This book is intended to be an introduction to pharmacy students regarding ''Synthesis and Biological Aspects of Pyrimidine Derivatives''. Pyrimidine and its derivatives are demonstrated as a pharmacologically active and important scaffold which possesses all kind of pharmacological activities such as analgesic, anticonvulsant, anti-depressive, antipyretic, sedative, antiviral, anti-HIV, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and anti-tumor activities.
