Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Thiazole Derivatives

2-amino, 4-phenyl thiazole derivatives

Beschreibung

A novel series of compounds have been synthesized by reacting 2 amino,4 phenyl thiazole and substituted benzaldehyde. The structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by IR, 1H-NMR, mass spectroscopy (MS) and their purity were ascertained by TLC and elemental analysis. The biological evaluation of these compounds shown the presence of anti-bacterial and anti-fungal activity in compounds.

Autor

Vandana Jugran was born in Bankhandi, Rishikesh, India. She completer her schooling from Rishikesh with honors. Moreover, she completer her graduation in pharmacy from H.N.B.G.U. Srinagar. Later she secured 96 percentile in GATE-2005 and completed her masters in pharmaceutical Chemistry with AICTE funding.
