After recent discovery of a single-layered carbon material "graphene" there is a strong interest to other 2D-materials. This is related to the concept of the monolayer-material based nanoelectronics. various transition metal dichalcogenides are proposed as semiconductors. Molybdenum disulphide ( MoS2) is treated now as the most promising compound. the Goals of the work Implementation of the ultrathin MoS2 film synthesis starting from the Mo-film ,Characterization of the produced samples morphology and chemical composition ,Investigation of the Raman scattering, steady-state and photoinduced optical absorption spectra.
