About half of the known organic molecules contain at least one heterocyclic nuclei, thus heterocyclic compounds are generally spread in nature. An attempt was made to synthesize and characterize some nitrogen containing new heterocyclic molecules. This book consists of four chapters. Chapter I, Synthesis of new substituted piperidyl benzotriazoles were by the reaction between piperidin-4-yl-benzo[d] [1,2,3] triazole and halo compounds in the presence of triethylamine in dichloromethane at appropriate conditions. The synthesized compounds were screened for their anti-microbial activity. Almost all newly synthesized compounds were showed better activity than standard. Chapter II, Synthesis of 2-[1-(5-substituted phenyl-[1,3,4] oxadiazol-2-ylmethyl)-piperdin-4-yl]-2H-benzotriazoles using 2-(piperidin-4-yl)-2H-benzo [d] [1,2,3] triazole and screen them for their anti-microbial activities and molecular docking studies. Chapter III, This chapter discusses the scope for preparation of new pyrazoles, isoxazole, pyrimidyl molecules. Chapter IV, A number of coumarin based N-substituted piperizine analogues were synthesized for their anti microbial activities and molecular docking studies.
