Mushtaq J. Meften completed his graduation in chemistry (2003) and his M.Sc. (2011) in analytical chemistry at the University of Basrah, Iraq. After that, he completed his Ph.D. studies in 2014 in corrosion of petroleum pipe line (analytical chemistry), at Chemistry Department, College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Basrah, Iraq.
