Autorenporträt
Tim Weilkiens is a managing director of the German consulting company oose, a consultant and trainer, and an active member of the OMG and INCOSE. He has written sections of the initial SysML specification and is still active in the ongoing work on SysML. He is involved in many MBSE activities around the world. As a consultant, he has advised many companies in different domains. The insights into their challenges are one source of his experience that he shares in his books and presentations. He has written many books about modeling, including Systems Engineering with SysML (Morgan Kaufmann, 2008) and Model-Based System Architecture (Wiley, 2015). He is the editor of the pragmatic and independent MBSE methodology SYSMOD ¿ the Systems Modeling Toolbox.
