Aspects, related to the role of intracorporal resident microorganisms in mammals based on the principles of interdependence and mutually beneficial coexistence with the macroorganism are discussed. The author puts forward the concept that intracorporal associations of resident microorganisms should be considered as a separate system in the integrative activity of mammalian organism based on strictly deterministic principles and postulates underlying the generally accepted theory of functional biological systems.
