Indeed, God providentially guides and blesses all who trust Him. The book of Ruth expresses how Naomi tried to run from her problems, cover up her mistakes and gets bitter against God. But in the next phase of life, a new beginning sets in through faith, a new friend was established through genuine love and a new attitude was adopted through hope in the God of Israel. With these in place, Ruth submitted and presented herself to Boaz, who also joyfully accepted her. In spite of that, Ruth consciously waited for Boaz to act. At the end, Ruth's wedding with Boaz was eminent. Boaz became a kinsman redeemer to Ruth, the people blessed Ruth and God faithfully gave Boaz and Ruth a son whom they named Jesse, who became the father of David. The book of Ruth irresistibly calls on all Christians to remain faithful to God irrespective of their difficult circumstances.
