I was born in 01.09.1956 in Bangladesh. I stood First in order of merit in B.Sc. (Hons.) and M. Sc. (Thesis) Examinations in 1977 and 1978 respectively. I was awarded DIC Degree in 1996 from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine and M. Phil in 1997 from London University and Doctor of Philosophy in 2004 from Chittagong University
