This volume constitutes selected papers presented at the 28th International Conference on Systems, Signals and Image Processing, IWSSIP 2021, held in Bratislava, Slovakia, in June 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the conference was held online. The presented 14 full and 5 short papers were thorougly reviewed and selected from the 76 submissions.
