Nightmares, jealousy, bullying, low self-esteem, attention problems, violence, insecurity, parents' divorce... these are just some of the difficult situations that children and adolescents have to deal with every day. Many of them need support to be able to do so. Unlike conventional approaches to child psychology, this book proposes an innovative approach that focuses on developing certain skills in children, which help them to, instead of concentrating on their "problems", divert their attention to a positive future. This priority attention to what is desired instead of undesirable behaviors is less stressful and more motivating for both them and their parents. This book is a hopeful toolbox, essential for anyone involved in the task of raising a child. Parents, grandparents, teachers, mental health professionals, among others, will find in it a valuable resource to ensure that children and adolescents successfully face the challenges that arise now and in the future.
