Many music lovers around the world have little information about Lord Ley, who nevertheless reigned on the Congolese music scene for more than fifty years. He was the first singer of black Africa to hold in suspense the public of the famous "Olympia" of Bruno Coquatrix, in Paris, during more than one month.
