Taking My Turn: Objections, Convolutions and Honey the Talking Cat is a delightful romp inside the inventive, opinionated, and often colorful mind of author Alice Haber. With Honey the Talking Cat as a constant companion and foil-Does she really talk? What did she really say to the noted cat expert who examined her?-Haber explores her universe and finds it both joyful and disappointing, but never dull. Listen in on fictional pillow talk between Donald Trump and wife Melania as he shares his vision of becoming Prime Minister of Israel. Visit a public school with a clueless Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos. Learn all about politics and the Pinocchio Syndrome. Meet the fabulous, adorable, loving, and beautiful cat whose name is Honey and who is, without question, the best friend a widowed, octogenarian grandmother, with a quirky sense of doom and humor, could ever have. And read about a host of Thinly Veiled Real Happenings. Sometimes a person needs to have her say. This one slim volume speaks for a lifetime.
