Robert P. has held numerous writing, editing, and publishing occupations throughout his distinguished professional career. Robert has also recovered from multiple addictions through twelve-step fellowships. He has been an active member of twelve-step fellowships for more than four decades, beginning and continuing with Overeaters Anonymous. He also actively participates in Debtors Anonymous and Al-Anon family groups. He owes Alcoholics Anonymous his most sincere gratitude for saving him through the twelve-step way of life AA created. After a lifetime of recovery, he now enjoys happy and fulfilling relationships, financial prosperity, excellent health, and adventures beyond his wildest dreams-all thanks to the twelve-step way of life and the grace of his Higher Power. In addition to his climb up Kilimanjaro, documented in Taking the 12 Steps Up-and Down-Kilimanjaro, Robert has been on safari in Africa, hiked along the Amazon, and visited the Galapagos Islands, Machu Picchu, and more.
