Blayne A. Banting teaches preaching and pastoral theology at Briercrest College and Seminary in Caronport, Saskatchewan. He is married to Peggy, and they have four grown children. He is author of With Wit and Wonder: The Preacher's Use of Humour and Imagination (2013), Take Up and Preach: A Primer for Interpreting Preaching Texts (2016), and Taken Up and Preached: A Collection of Biblical Sermons (2019).
