Leighton J. Rees's meditations on love, loss, mundanity and everything in between shine in this eclectic set of poems. There are homages to icons, slices of dark humour, rhymes aimed at children; truly something for everyone. His descriptions vary from the grotesque to the tender, the profound to the prosaic, whether it's his scathing critique of the 'PC brigade', a night in hell or tales of loves past and present.
