Koza Belleli was born and lives in Paris. She is the author of many young adult books and regularly shares her works with children and teachers at various schools in France. One of her books, The Ball of Houpelune, was read on Radio Classique (a national radio in France). Her last book, Tali Nohkati, the Great Crossing, was published in France, Italy and in the USA where it received the Pencraft Awards-Literary Excellence-Winner 1st place in 2020. Koza Belleli also wrote a song for Cesaria Evora's album Sao Vicente di Longe.
