Steve James Briggs was born in Blackpool in 1966 to a military family. He endured years of child abuse from his former schoolteacher and Peter Righton, one of the founders of PIE (Paedophile Information Exchange) in the 1970s. Briggs later enlisted in the army and served for several years. He served in Iraq during Operation Desert Storm, but Briggs was wounded in action and discharged from the military. He has faced many obstacles in his life, but Briggs always digs deep and survives. He owned a lucrative building business in the 90s and enjoyed relative success. His building business thrived, and he worked for notable British celebrities. Briggs loves travelling and has lived in France and Greece. However, his fortune transformed, and he was homeless in London for several weeks, but through the help of the Veteran Association in London, he found help and moved to Scotland where he now works a bus driver.
